Cookie Policy

Effective May 19, 2026

This policy explains what cookies and similar technologies Codara, Inc. uses on codara.net, what each one does, and how you can control them. It complements our Privacy Policy and Terms of Use.

01.What cookies are

A “cookie” is a small text file that a website stores in your browser when you visit. Cookies let a site remember things between page loads or across visits — for example, that you've accepted a notice, or which page you came from.

We also use related technologies — including localStorage, sessionStorage, and pixel-style requests — for the same purposes. Wherever we say “cookies” in this policy, we mean these technologies collectively.

02.Categories we use

We use cookies in two categories.

  • Strictly necessary. These are essential for the Site to work correctly — they remember your cookie-consent choice so we don't ask you again on every page, for example. We do not require your consent to set these, because the Site cannot function properly without them.
  • Analytics. These help us understand how visitors use the Site — which pages are read, where traffic comes from, what converts to waitlist sign-ups. We only set analytics cookies after you give consent in regions where consent is required (the EEA, UK, Switzerland). In other regions, you can opt out at any time using the controls described below.

We do not use advertising cookies, social-media tracking pixels, cross-site identifiers, or cookies that fingerprint your device for ad targeting.

03.Specific cookies

We will update this table whenever we add, remove, or materially change a cookie.

PostHog requests are proxied through codara.net/r so the SDK and the event ingest both load from this origin rather than from posthog.com. The data still goes to PostHog — the proxy is a content-delivery convenience, not a way to hide who's processing your data.

05.Managing cookies in your browser

All modern browsers let you view, restrict, and delete cookies. The specific steps differ:

  • Chrome. Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data.
  • Firefox.Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data.
  • Safari. Settings → Privacy → Manage Website Data.
  • Edge. Settings → Cookies and site permissions → Manage and delete cookies and site data.
  • Brave. Settings → Shields → Cookies. Brave Shields blocks many third-party cookies by default.

Blocking strictly necessary cookies may cause the Site to behave incorrectly — principally, you'll be re-prompted for cookie consent on every page load.

06.Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control

Our PostHog SDK is configured to respect the browser Do Not Tracksetting. When DNT is on, we do not capture analytics events from your visit, regardless of any consent you've given.

We also recognise the Global Privacy Control signal (globalprivacycontrol.org) as a valid opt-out signal under the California Consumer Privacy Act and equivalent US state laws.

07.Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we'll update the “Effective” date at the top. For material changes — for example, adding a new analytics provider or a new cookie category — we will re-prompt for consent in affected regions.
